An Inspiring Word

To night I heard a profound word tonight.  I volunteer at my church's children's ministry, and one of the speakers spoke about how God placed us in time so we could fall in love with Him. You see, if He "commanded" love -- it would not be love, God knew it takes time to fall in love.

That to me, is so awesome, especially since God gave so much for us -- His Son, Jesus -- so we should, realizing His love, fall in love and give "all" to Him...

Scriptures that was discussed tonight:
  • Mal. 3: 6-12
  • Gen. 3
  • Gen. 1
  • John 1

Read and get inspired, well this has been "my-2-cents" God bless, Jesus loves you and singing-out!...

There has been plenty of news coverage surrounding the untimely -- and mysterious -- death of the beloved Whitney Houston.
News networks, reporters and a like are saying many different things, while rumors spread around all the same -- drug abuse -- among the biggest things speculated. So when the family decided to do an interview with Oprah, most people chose to tune in to get some answers.

But some, didn't think it was a great idea, especially since Bobbi Kristina was going to be interviewed only weeks after her famous mother died.

Monique Houston discusses her disapproval of the recent Oprah interview and other details with HLN's Dr. Drew yesterday, March 13.

Please watch the clip below from that segment and you be the judge to whether or not there's something more to this story than meets the eye, and compare her side with the interview done on the Oprah network -- CLICK HERE: Oprah's Next Chapter: "Whitney Houston's Family Interview" (www.oprah.com/own).

The an In-Depth Look Into the Afghan Massacre (ABC News Report)

These stories reveal a troubling truth that the United States has to face at some point. The past incidents mentioned in both reports, shows that neither the U.S. government, nor the U.S. military is doing enough to insure the best care and resources its U.S. soldiers. The concerns for the mental health of soldiers is increasing as cases of soldiers' horrific actions overseas and at home are continually being reported.

Are military soldiers and personnel receiving adequate counseling as well as being provided with other services to help them deal with issues such as PTSD? didj

Is the military providing the best programs available to combat these unthinkable acts by U.S. soldiers mentioned in the above reports?

Are there programs available for soldiers and their families to help circumvent the re-adjustment issues that soldiers coming back to the states face everyday?

The U.S. government and the military have to answer to these questions and more, it should not take shocking events like that of the massacre in Afghanistan recently for the U.S. military to wake up and realize that it needs to provide more for U.S. soldiers than just military benefits.  There needs to be programs and opportunities provided to our soldiers and their families -- to help prevent things like this from happening.

My heart and prayers go out to the many U.S. families that have been greatly affected regarding issues raised in these news reports, as well as praying for those families and victims of the recent massacre, may Jesus bring healing and comfort to those hurting and in need right now.

I am Ralonda Green, and this has been "my-2-cents," Jesus loves you, and signing out!
