I am a journalism student and working on my Bachelors’ Degree. I want to master the art of interviewing, television production, writing and the other skills needed to becoming a well rounded journalist. In my future profession as a professional broadcast journalist, I hope to apply my skills in a way that will greatly impact tomorrow’s media. I aspire to become a well-known investigative report, news producer, and broadcast news writer working for news networks such as CNN, FOX, CBS, ABC or NBC. ©
After entry-level work as a local news reporter and production editor and professional news anchor for a national news corporation, I hope to expand my skills by owning my own media company and produce films, books, and television programming for a prominent network or TV station.
Living in San Antonio for several years, I’ve acquired – “giving all glory and honor to Jesus”—an Associate’s Degree in Journalism for San Antonio College, as well as a scholar at UIW’s McNair Scholar’s Program, and I’ve been volunteering at Livingway Church as a co-director and television production crew member for its Television Ministry for over 8 years.
There are several different things, goals, and elements that I hope you – the blogger – will find interesting and/or get out of this blog:
· The main site will display my feature writing talent regarding different news stories and headlines (YouTube videos/News Network stations) – using Christian and journalism perspectives
