The Young Turks. Kirk Cameron Anti-Gay Views Brave? Piers Morgan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgtjpBzts4s, Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur , 2012.

I am pleased that anchors Kasparian and Uygur agree that Kirk Cameron does not deserve the backlash for taking a stand for what he believes in.  Too often you have situations where people choose to be too “politically-correct,” and fear being viewed as: bigoted, evil and hateful for just voicing out what they believe, as so many other groups do.

However, I don’t agree with Uygur’s statement that religious groups – especially Christians – set out to purposely pick out particular verses of scripture for the sole purpose of throwing it certain groups they hate.
Real Christians, if I may, Christians don’t hate people – they stand on the Word of God.
Christians are not a group that has “chosen” to find scriptures’ of hate toward others…
If arguments are going to be made, they should be made fully understanding the other side.

Yes, I acknowledge that within the Christian community – there are the occasional “wolves-in-sheep’s clothing,” hypocrites and others that do hate people and set out to express it toward their targets, with no regard for the love of God or the character of Christ.  But this is not to say that “all Christians” fit under this category.
And to say that Christians are politically campaigning against others and politically setting out to keep people out of the political process – is an unfair argument at best.

Real Christians are people who have realized that they were sinners, and that Jesus came from a wealthy Heavenly realm, and made himself poor – taken on the likeness of mankind (coming as a humble child) – and gave his “all” for us (non-Christians as well) so as to not stay at the state we’re in but bring us up and into the image and likeness of God through His love and to abundant life in expressing the Kingdom of God in the power of the Holy Spirit, and witnesses of the gospel of Christ Jesus.

Historically, in ancient times, kings would send messengers (runners or scribes) to hand written material/tell of the kings orders to generals or other kings.  These massagers didn’t shove nor force the king’s message down the throats of the persons meant to receive the word of the king.

The messenger just simply told word-for-word/handed the message over to the subject.
Christians are just simply messenger of God’s Word, even if what is found in the Bible might be hard to grasp or hard to hear.  Christians just simply tell what is said, in the love God – for doesn’t want people to be lost or to go to Hell – Jesus came so all people would not have to go there.  Christians are “practitioners of Christ love,” not hate.
Christians should not be bashed for just simply telling and living out the Word of God to people, especially sense other groups passionately stand for what they believe in and are hardly criticized for their ideas.

Well, I know I said a lot, but that's just "my-2-cents," until next time God loves you and signing-out!
